Sample Inspections

This is an essential step of inspecting the product sample against the technical specifications, patterns and other requirements of the customer. This process helps ensure the right quality, colours, materials and specifications in order to avoid any bulk quality problems during the manufacturing process.

Proto sample inspection

This is the first sample given to the customer. It is prepared according to the customer’s specification and design requirements. This is a trial sample and can be made from the fabric composition specified in any colour.

Fit sample inspection

Once the proto sample is approved, the fit sample is made as per the customer’s measurement sheet. It can be made by using similar fabric in any colour. In the Fit sample, stitching and measurement must be accurate.

Size set inspection

After approving the fit sample, based on the patterns of the approved sample, size set samples are made as per the pattern and graded spec for each size. Here, it should be noted that, without the size set sample approval, cutting for bulk production should not be started.

Pre-production sample inspection

Pre-production (PP) sample should be made in the actual production line with all actual trims and packaging as per the customer’s requirement. Only after the PP sample is approved, the supplier can start bulk production.

Top of Production ( TOP) sample inspection

The top of production samples are taken from the first production run and evaluated against the customer’s requirements to ensure the required quality standards are being met during the bulk production.

Fabric and Trim Inspections

Fabrics are checked for colour, density, weight, printing, measurement, hand feel and other quality criteria prior to the garment production. The inspections is conducted on greige or finished fabrics following the International Standards of 4 point system. Fabric inspections help minimize garment rejections due to fabric faults thus ensuring the quality of the finished products.

Trims and accessories are checked to ensure they meet the customers requirement and are available in the required quantities to meet the production schedule.

Inline Inspections

During inline inspection, goods are inspected during the manufacturing process for each operation instead of inspecting only the finished product. It offers extra quality assurance for products that require particular attention to the workmanship.

Our Inline inspections provide a more transparent view of the production process and most importantly also improve the production with corrective action plans developed by our quality auditors.

Quantity check of semi-finished and finished products during inline inspection, also serve as a good indicator of production status for a better estimate of the completion time of the production.

Pre-Shipment Inspections

This inspection is carried out when the production of the total quantity of an order or partial delivery is completed. The inspection is conducted at the factory premises, where 80% to 100% of the production is packed and completed. These inspections are done to verify that the goods being shipped have been manufactured according to the customers’ requirements. The inspection is done based on the AQL sampling system as specified by the customer

All inspections are carried out by our quality experts who have knowledge of the product and inspections techniques. The actual findings during the inspection are recorded through our online reporting application and shared with the customer within 24 working hours.

We also carry out a packing audit during the final inspection to verify shipping marks, barcodes, package printing, barcodes, contents, size and condition of packaging.

Sorting Inspections (100% Inspections)

A 100% inspection is performed on every item to evaluate appearance, workmanship, specifications etc. as per the customers requirement. This inspection can be carried out as a pre or post packaging inspection.

Container Loading Inspections

A complete inspection of the interior and exterior of the container is done to check for damaged floor boards, moulds, dampness, odour etc. The inspector also checks the packaging of the goods to make sure the material will protect the goods during shipping. We monitor the entire loading process to ensure the correct quantity is securely loaded into the container before shipment.
