Integrated Overseas was founded in 1999 by Farook Ghulam Ali, whose journey into global sourcing began with determination rather than prior industry experience. Before establishing the company, Farook owned a manufacturing facility producing electronic components and voltage stabilizers. At the age of 42, he made the bold decision to enter an entirely new field.
He spent a year rigorously learning the sourcing and buying-house business—developing an understanding of products, manufacturing, quality requirements and the expectations of international buyers.
With that foundation, he established Integrated Overseas in Chennai. The company’s early years were defined by persistence. Farook personally approached prospective buyers across the United States and Europe, steadily building relationships and earning opportunities through commitment and credibility.
Throughout this journey, the principles established by Farook have remained unchanged: personal accountability, uncompromising attention to quality, ethics, honesty, trust and relationships built for the long term.
